Photography / Conceptual

Probably my favorite peice of Photography that i've ever produced. I've wanted to put it up on DA for some time, but I can't hook up my old scanner to my new computer, so i finally got ahold of a scanner and got some old photo's computerized. The model is my good friend and lead singer. He's got some of the best ink work i've ever seen, done by one of the top 5 world color artists, even though this image is B&W LOL. I was trying to use shape and light to portray this entire message rather than just a pic of some awesome tats.

Wow, awsome shot and Killer lighting! This is the kind of B&W shot i like to see, there's higher contrast than most [not so much grey] its either black or white. Good pose too, the picture have a band feeling too it as well. Nice to see that come through.

The simplicity of the dark shadows and stark white highlights next to the complex and beautiful tatoos is just lovely.

This is such an effective, well composed photograph, well done.

i love the simplicity of black&white photography, and this picture looks great. even though its in b&w you can still see the details and shading in the tattoos. really good pic
